The issue of Mid-Day dated Nov 2, 2007 had SRK as the Guest Editor and had him interact with their team.
The readers were subjected to reams and reams of newsprint on SRK. The sports section was also not spared. No one is interested in knowing who SRK inspires, or what kind of relations he shares with colleagues, loved ones and friends? Mid-Day, spare us the gyan on love and friendship. You don’t have to exhibit SRK’s histrionics all over the paper.
So, what if it is his birthday? Wish him and let go!
SRK is known for making digs at his contemporaries at every chance he gets – “a custody dispute in a star’s family or another star baring his backside”. We know which stars he is hinting at. Why did he not mention about his so-called six packs abs being displayed and talked about everyday in all newspapers which is so irrelevant?
SRK has chosen the “I want to live for my two-year-old son” as the lead story. Your choice of story is approved. Our hearts also go out to Sachin Shinde. Am sure after reading this article, many big hearted people will come forward to help Sachin like we have seen before. But SRK, will your contribution also go out to him? Sachin is struggling to put together Rs. 1.35 lakh for a heart surgery and SRK is asking people to help him monetarily and save him. The people who you request for help may contribute by making some or the other sacrifice in their lives. SRK, why don’t you pay up the entire Rs. 1.35 lakh for the surgery because for you this amount is peanuts considering you have gifted Farah Khan a whopping Rs. 40 lakhs Mercedes car? Everyone does everything for their loved and near and dear ones. Not all do a bit for others.

At least now, the media and press should realize how this man stoops to any level to be in the news. MiD DAY has spelt it right. He and his cronies always divert attention from the current talk of the town to himself. I, ME, MYSELF are the only words in this APE’s directory. The new KBC show should be rechristened as “Kaun Bachaye Crown” and all his allies/PR should participate and compete with each other to secure his self-declared position. Besides the huge pay packet, the winner will get to present a life-time achievement award to their boss after his retirement.

Top leading Mumbai newspapers have ignored comments sent by email on SRK’s gimmicks for declaring and stating ‘DON’ as super hit. This goes to prove that the man has also pocketed the media and press and will go to any length to see that any kind of criticism is kept under wraps. He pays the press to write only goody-goody things on him. Shame on you and the press.

Ram Jethmalani is a CRIMINAL lawyer in the literal sense. Along with the prime accused Manu Sharma, Jethmalani is also a criminal who is trying to defend his client with sadistic misinformation on the victim Jessica Lall and the events that lead to her murder.
In a TV interview, he said “I have a conscience which many people would be proud of. I am a champion of justice. That is precisely what I am doing”. Jethmalani, you are a champion of "JUST LIES" because you have a conscience for conspiracy and character assassination. That is exactly what you are doing and people are ashamed of you.

Having read and heard most of the reviews and comments on the latest movie remake of 'DON’, it is really appalling to see the gimmicks adopted by the self-proclaimed star to promote his movie by any means whatsoever. By shouting in the newspapers ‘PEOPLE’S VERDICT – SUPER HIT’ does not make the movie a super hit. The audience cannot be taken in easily by such tactics. And, can you prove to the people that it is their verdict? This does not appear to be the work of the director Farhan Akhtar. Though his previous film ‘Lakshya’ was an average film, he did not venture into any kind of attention-grabbing stunt or falsification for the movie. So, we all know to whom the finger points to. Shahrukh Khan – try and learn to accept your flops and flaws to rise in the true sense.

It is ridiculous to give the self-proclaimed actor and star this kind of publicity. The man, who calls him star material does the worst of commercials, contorts his face like an ape, communicates in the most pathetic manner and charges a BOMB.
It is high time the media throw all the tripe and sham of this chain smoker into the BIN and come up with newsworthy information and details.
